PlankCoach Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using PlankCoach (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. App Description
The App uses the camera to analyze plank posture in real time and provides features such as duration measurement, posture judgment, challenges, custom set menus, and history management.
Features, design, pricing, and availability may be changed, added, suspended, or discontinued without prior notice.
2. Health Notice
The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or professional advice.
You are responsible for checking your health condition, fitness level, and surroundings before using the App. Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, numbness, strong fatigue, or any other abnormal symptoms.
If you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, exercise restriction from a doctor, or any health concern, consult a physician or qualified professional before using the App.
3. Posture Judgments and Results
The App's posture judgments, measured time, scores, and feedback may vary depending on device, camera position, lighting, clothing, body type, network conditions, operating system, and other conditions.
We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose of App measurements or judgments.
4. Prohibited Acts
You must not engage in the following acts when using the App.
- Violating laws, public order, morals, or these Terms
- Interfering with the operation of the App, servers, networks, or third-party services
- Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, modification, analysis, or vulnerability probing
- Improperly bypassing subscriptions, ads, billing, or permission controls
- Infringing the rights, privacy, reputation, or credit of others
- Using the App in dangerous environments, exercising beyond safe limits, or using the App in a way that may cause accidents
- Any other act we consider inappropriate
5. Free Features and Pro Features
The App may provide free features and paid Pro features. Pro features may include unlocking all challenges, running custom menus, strict judgment mode, and ad removal.
The details of Pro features are shown in the App or on the App Store.
6. Subscriptions
The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions. Purchases, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed through Apple's App Store and your Apple ID account settings.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. You can cancel from your Apple ID subscription management screen.
If a free trial or discount is offered, the terms shown on the App Store apply.
7. Ads
The App may display ads using third-party ad services such as Google AdMob. Advertisers or ad providers are responsible for the content, destination, and terms of ads.
8. User Data
The App stores session history, custom set menus, and settings on your device. You are responsible for managing your own data.
Data may be lost due to app uninstallation, device failure, operating system issues, deletion, or other reasons. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or inability to restore data.
9. Intellectual Property
All copyrights, trademarks, know-how, programs, images, user interface, text, and other intellectual property rights related to the App belong to us or their rightful owners.
You may use the App for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lend, or re-provide the App without our prior permission.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services such as Google AdMob, RevenueCat, and Apple services for advertising, subscription management, and purchase processing. Each third-party service is subject to its own terms and privacy policy.
11. Disclaimer
We do not guarantee that the App will achieve your expected results, operate accurately at all times, be free from interruptions or errors, or be available on all devices and environments.
You use the App at your own responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of or inability to use the App.
12. Suspension of Use
We may suspend or restrict all or part of the App without prior notice if you violate these Terms or if necessary for App operation.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms as necessary. If we make material changes, we will notify users in the App or by other appropriate means.
If you use the App after changes take effect, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, except where mandatory laws of your place of residence apply.
